Recipe Rescue 101

We enjoyed our latest guest speaker, Kristi Ruth. Kristi is a Registered Dietitian and busy working mom of three kids, ages seven to fifteen. Without going crazy, Kristi has found a way of developing easy and practical nutrient-dense recipes that kids and parents love. She started a recipe blog “Carrots & Cookies” as a way to share her recipes and knowledge to help busy families understand what it means to feed their families well.

We discussed:

  • Her mission for her blog
  • Her best secret for busy families?
  • What she (as a dietitian) wishes every parent should know when searching for recipes on the internet?
  • And we discussed the challenge with blogging as a dietitian trying to prioritize the user AND what speaks to Google so her recipes are found. You won’t want to miss the secret word to use when you search…
